One Response to Two Carcieri-Style Complaints Opposing Ione Band of Miwok Indians Trust Acquisition

  1. JP says:

Our complaint Villa v Salazar is the Ione Band of Miwok Indians of California, the federally recognized tribe, challenging the Ione Band of Miwok Indians, a tribe not appearing on the list of tribal entities attempting to put land into trust while having no ties to the Ione Band of Miwok Indians of California. The Ione Band of Miwok Indians of California are plains and bay Miwok without ties to Plymouth. The Ione Band of Miwok Indians claim to be Northern Sierra Miwok and Nissanan Maidu.
