Here are the results, so we now know the top two cases.
(1) Worcester v. Georgia defeats (20) Merrion v. Jicarilla Apache Tribe: 63 percent to 36 percent
The last practical sovereignty case bites the dust in favor the case that started it all. I guess that’s why it is a greatest cases game.
(7) Williams v. Lee defeats (6) Winters v. United States: 56 percent to 44 percent
Maybe Williams is the last practical sovereignty case….

i haven’t followed this. was Menominee Tribe v. U.S. even in the running?
It made it to the third round (the semis were the fourth round). Pretty good. I pitched it pretty hard, but people voted for Worcester instead.
