Little River Holdings (Little River Band of Ottawa Indians)

Little River Holdings LLC, a wholly owned enterprise of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, is accepting proposals from consultants to facilitate a development project.  If you have experience in some or all of the following areas and are interested in bidding, please contact us for a Request for Proposal Packet. Areas of expertise required are: Real Estate Development Planning, Financial Projections, Debt/Equity Projections, Grant Procurement, Securing of Investors/Lenders, Construction Monitoring, and Compliance and Asset Management. Pueblo of Isleta

Associate General Counsel, Isleta, N.M. Under the direction of General Counsel, the Associate General Counsel provides professional legal counsel in the areas of tribal government, federal-tribal relations, jurisdiction issues, environmental and natural resources law and policy, economic development, tribal business enterprise, and employment issues. Works to protect tribal assets and preserve tribal sovereignty. The Pueblo is looking for someone who is a member of the New Mexico bar and has at least three years of relevant experience.

Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation

Summer Law Clerk, Office of Legal Counsel, Pendleton, O.R. The OLC is looking for a summer law clerk, who may work on up to two projects: (1) research concerning historic CTUIR specific cases; and/or (2) work with a project team research project concerning reservation boundaries. Clerk(s) will work on site with occasional remote locations for associated tasks. Applications close April 18, 2018.

Summer Law Clerk, Department of Justice, Window Rock, A.Z. The Navajo Nation Department of Justice (DOJ) is seeking energetic and motivated candidates for multiple funded summer law clerk positions in the following areas of practice:

Crow Tribe of Indians

Legislative Attorney, Crow Agency, M.T. The Legislature is seeking an attorney to work alongside them in developing and implementing policy that protects and develops the Nation, its people and assets. The job requires both administrative experience and trial experience (to respond to challenges of new, or enforcement of existing, law).

Tohono O’odham Nation

Mining Attorney, Sells, A.Z. The Tohono O’odham Nation is in the preliminary stages of searching for a Mining Attorney on a contract basis. This is not an official request for proposals but we are scoping out the interest and will be sending bid packets to those interested. Please see the attached RFP for the scope of work. Strategic Communications Manager, Portland, O.R. The National Indian Child Welfare Association to promote NICWA’s public image and visibility through a variety of communications media. Association on American Indian Affairs

Cultural Sovereignty Fellowship, Washington, D.C. The Association on American Indian Affairs seeks a recent graduate of an undergraduate, graduate or law degree program to join AAIA for a year in the metro DC area for a paid internship to work on National policy on protecting cultural resources/heritage and Indian child and youth matters.
